Unsatisified Weight, Poor Energy, and Poor Recovery

Mac is a 55 year old male that has overcome some amazing life circumstances.  He enjoys to run and has aspirations of running this upcoming Boston Marathon.  Mac came to me over 190lbs with poor energy levels.  He does suffer from low thyroid which contributes to the energy issues.  He believed that dropping down to an ideal weight would make training and completing the marathon easier, and I agreed.  He was also concerned about how his energy levels would affect his goals.  We tested Mac’s neurotransmitter deficiencies and to no surprise there were some found.  we placed Mac on a paleo diet and used specific amino acid therapy to correct the neurotransmitter deficiencies.  This is what he had to say:
